Prep the Pineapple: Spread an even layer of the cinnamon butter mixture over both sides of each pineapple slice.
8 Pineapple Slices
Get Grilling: Preheat your charcoal or electric grill. Grill the pineapple slices on both sides for 5-7 minutes, or until lightly browned and caramelized.
Flambé (Optional): Always follow safety precautions when flambéing. Warm the brandy or rum in a ladle. Carefully pour the warmed liquor over the hot pineapple slices and tilt the pan slightly to ignite the fumes. Let the flames burn for a few seconds, then extinguish with a lid.
1 Tablespoon Brandy or Rum
Serve and Enjoy: Serve your grilled pineapple slices immediately with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.

- For a richer flavor, use dark brown sugar instead of light brown sugar.
- Don't have brandy or rum? You can omit the flambéing step altogether.
- Bananas can be used in place of pineapple, or grill both fruits for a variety of flavors!
