Ingredients
  

  • 500 grams pineapple
  • 1 capsicum
  • 0.25 cups sugar
  • 4 tbsp mayonnaise
  • 4 tbsp cheese spread
  • 2 tbsp milk
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 cup butter
  • 16 slices whole wheat bread

Instructions
 

  • In a pan add chopped pineapple and sugar. Saute for a while until pineapple becomes translucent. (almost 50% cooked)
    500 grams pineapple, 0.25 cups sugar
  • Once pineapple is cooked, it will release water. Drain excess water from pineapple using strainer.
  • In a bowl, mix Pineapple, Chopped Capsicum, Salt (adjust it as required as Mayo and Cream cheese will have its own salts), Mayonnaise, Cream Cheese Spread and Milk. Mix well.
    1 capsicum, 4 tbsp mayonnaise, 4 tbsp cheese spread, 1 tsp salt, 2 tbsp milk
  • Take two slices of bread and apply butter on both the sides. Spread Pineapple and Capsicum mixer on one side and place another slide on mixer.
    16 slices whole wheat bread, 1 cup butter
  • Grill Sandwich by applying butter on both slices. Serve Hot with Mayonnaise.

Notes

  • Alternately, you can grill breads and place mixer once grilled. This will retain creamy texture of mixture. 
  • Canned pineapple can also be used, in this case skip step 1 and 2.
