A tangy, sour and spicy maharashtrian chutney is here to tantalize your tongue. Try out this 5 minutes recipe which goes well with Chapathi (Indian bread) or rice.

Maharashtrian Peanut Garlic Chutney (shengdana chutney)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 tsp dessicated dry coconut सुखा नारयल
  • 4 pods garlic लेहसुन
  • 12 dry red chillies सुखी लाल मीर्च
  • 5 tsp roasted peanuts मुंगफली के दाने
  • 2 tsp roasted sesame seeds तील
  • 2 small pcs of tamarind ईमली
  • Salt to taste नमक

Instructions
 

  • Grind coconut, garlic, red chillies, roasted peanuts, roasted sesame seeds, salt and tamarind.
    2 tsp dessicated dry coconut, 12 dry red chillies, 5 tsp roasted peanuts, 2 tsp roasted sesame seeds, Salt to taste, 2 small pcs of tamarind
  • Serve with hot chapathi or can be used in different maharashtrian curries.
    4 pods garlic
