Crispy Bread Uttappam Triangles: A Quick and Delicious Breakfast

If you’re tired of the usual breakfast options and want to try something new, these Crispy Bread Uttappam Triangles are the perfect choice! Combining the textures of crispy toast with the flavors of traditional South Indian Uttappam, this dish is a fun and innovative way to serve up a satisfying breakfast. Made with semolina, cheese, capsicum, and onions, this recipe takes only 15 minutes to make, making it an ideal option for busy mornings. Pair it with coconut or green chutney for a delicious and nutritious start to your day.

The Story Behind the Recipe

This recipe is a modern twist on the classic Uttappam, a popular South Indian dish. Uttappam is typically made with a batter of rice and lentils, but in this recipe, I’ve used bread as the base to save time without compromising on taste. I often prepare this dish when I’m looking for a quick breakfast that’s both filling and flavorful. My kids absolutely love the crispy texture and cheesy goodness, and it’s become a staple in our household.
